Sooqer.ae (“the Company” or “us” or “we” or “our”) consists of www.sooqer.ae (“Website”). The Website connects users to buy, or sell used items from the sellers. The Website and Mobile App shall be collectively referred to as the Platform (“Platform”). 

This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which all personal data, provided by the user of our Platform (“you” or “your” or “User”) or collected from you or other sources ("Information") due to your usage of our Platform. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your Information. By using our Platform, Products, and Services, you agree to the handling of your Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will engage with other businesses (“Third Party” or “Third Parties”) to provide products and services on our Platform.

      v.         Any other way as appropriate for the Platform.

 vii.         We use cookies when you log on to our Platform. You may disable Cookies by changing the settings on your system. If you disable Cookies, you may not be able to access our Platform in full or partially.

SHARING INFORMATION

       i.         We may engage with other businesses (“Third Party” or “Third Parties”) to provide products and services on our Platform including for advertising and other related business requirements. Third Parties may access your Information and store them and such storage will be in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the respective Third Parties. You agree that review and acceptance of Third Party privacy policy is your obligation. We do not have control over the usage of your Information by Third Parties. By agreeing to the Privacy Policy, you provide your consent to us to utilize your Information as required by us;

      ii.         We will use your information to provide you with Products, Services, and Third Party advertisements and/or related information products and/or services. We may contact you through emails, mobile, or through our Platform using your Information.

     iii.         We may solicit additional Information based on changes to business and/or fulfill any requirements from Third Parties.

     iv.         We may solicit additional information to comply with UAE laws and regulations.

      v.         Your Information shall form part of any sale or partial sale of the Company or Karp Studios Portal (“Owner”).

     vi.         We will not be collecting any payment information including credit card and bank account details. Credit card and bank account details will be collected by Third Parties and such information will be subject to the respective Third Party Privacy Policy. We do not have any access or control over such Third Party Privacy Policies and accordingly it is your obligation to review the respective Third Party Privacy Policy. By using our Platform, you consent to our Privacy Policy and the respective Privacy Policies of the Third Parties.

STORING INFORMATION

We use Third Party Products and services for maintenance, storage, security, administration and other related areas of our Company and/or our Platform including but not limited to technical and business-related areas. Your Information will be shared with and/or stored through Third Parties that include all of the Third Parties mentioned above. The location of the Third Parties and the storage location may be within or outside UAE. We may also share your Information or store your Information outside UAE for purposes of transaction processing, provision of Products and/or Services, and/or Platforms. We will store your Information unless prohibited by law or through a legal ruling from Dubai Courts. Whilst we confirm that we will undertake maximum measures to provide the best possible care to secure your information, we cannot guarantee full security as this depends on the media through which you use our Platform, the location, and other external factors that are not entirely under our control. Accordingly, by using our Platform you agree that any Information leakage and/or security breach due to your utilization of our Platform is not the responsibility of the Company and/or the Owner. Within the Company, only authorized personnel will have access to your Information. You are responsible for keeping all of your Information including login and password information confidential.

All Information you provide will be stored by us including historical Information and any updated information that you provide through our Platform. If at any point in time, you do not consent to this Privacy Policy, you are free to discontinue usage of our Platform, Products, and/or Services. You agree to allow us to retain all of your Information subsequent to your discontinuation unless we receive a specific request to delete information on our contact. You agree that you will notify us of your request to delete the information within 15 calendar days of your last login. We will make our best efforts to delete your information but we do not guarantee that all information will be deleted. In case of Information that has been accessed by, utilized by, and retained by Third Parties, you agree that it is your obligation to contact the respective Third Parties to delete your Information. In case of any Information deletion request received outside of 15 calendar days after your last login, the Company retains the right to either agree to the deletion request or not agree in which case you provide your consent to us to retain your Information unless prohibited by law or the Dubai Courts.

CHANGE TO PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy changes will be updated on the Platform and users will be notified on the Platform directly. It is your obligation to regularly check the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Platform will be considered as consent to the updated Privacy Policy.
